Effective April 1st, 2017, anyone who uses APCO’s services is required to pay his/her service fee according to the following fee
schedule:
APPLICATION FEE:
Upon registration, each party is required to pay his/her own Application Fee. Application Fees are charged on a sliding scale as
follows:
A one time fee of $50.00 (for clients with an annual income of $15,000 or more).
A one time fee of $25.00 (for clients with an annual income below $15,000).
If the family is accepted into service, this fee is applied to their User Fees. If the family is not accepted into service this fee is nonrefundable.
USER FEES:
Upon acceptance into the program, each party is required to pay his/her own User Fee, unless the court order states otherwise. User
Fees are charged on a sliding scale as follows:
$150.00 per year (for clients with an annual income of $15,000 or more)
$50.00 per year (for clients with an annual income below $15,000)
REPORT FEE:
Unless the court order states otherwise, each party is responsible for covering the report cost for his/her own request. Our
Administrative Fee of $50.00 will remain unchanged, but there will be a charge of $8.00 per report up to a maximum of $ 400.00 per request. Please note that there will be no additional charges once the total amount for a request reaches $400.00.
CORRESPONDENCE FEE:
There will be a Correspondence Fee of $50.00 per page for all letter requests. Parties are required to pay this fee regardless of their
income level. (No sliding scale, waiver or payment plan option is available).
COURT ATTENDANCE FEE:
APCO will charge a fee of $100 per hour and $500 per day for each court attendance. This fee needs to be paid by the requesting
party.
INTERPRETER FEE:
Our program will cover the INTERPRETER FEE for children and adults who are unable to communicate in English or French during
their scheduled supervised visits with our program. Parties are required to cover their own interpreter’s fee if:
They arrive late by 30 minutes for their scheduled visit/exchange.
They cancel their scheduled visit/exchange with less than 24 hours notice.
They fail to show up for the scheduled visit/exchange.
FEES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH APCO’s AGREEMENT FOR SERVICE:
As per the Ministry of the Attorney General’s new fee guidelines, Effective April 1, 2017, we will be charging the following fees:
- Lateness Fee:
In the event that either party arrives late (by 5 minutes or more) for their scheduled visit/exchange, the party who arrives late is responsible for paying a fee of $10.00.
- Late Cancellation Fee:
In the event that either party cancels a visit with less than 24 hours notice, the cancelling party is responsible to pay a fee of $10.00.
All cancellations received after 9:00 a.m on Fridays will be considered a late cancellation.
- No-Show Fee:
Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled visit/exchange are required to pay a No-Show Fee of $25.00.
