Board
of Directors
The volunteer Board of Directors governs and manages the daily operation and affairs of Access for Parents and Children in Ontario and provides strategic leadership to the Program Director.
The Board of Directors is made up of the following positions and committees:
Directors are elected by the membership of APCO
at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in June of each calendar year. All board members meet once per month to determine board policy issues, provide support and govern the operation of the agency.
APCO staff
The Program Director is responsible for daily management of the service. At each location, there is a Centre Supervisor, one or more Junior Program Assistants, and relief staff. Volunteers and students from community colleges and universities also participate in the program. However,
a staff
member is present during all supervised visits and exchanges.
